Self-describing domain endings (.online, .shop, .amsterdam) are the future! 

They CAN what .com, .net and .org can't: 

1. tell people what the content is about
2. left + right of the dot can form one word or phrase.
3. be short, sticky and memorable 

Forward a domain like "order.online" to your existing website, social media page or campaign!

Explanation:

In the past, a significant number of domains came under .com. In the future, domains will be more categorized by a meaningful TLD (.cars, .clothing, .game, .shop, .online). 

In the future, (AI) search engines will stop showing hyperlinks within the search results. It will become more difficult to be found via search engines. By then, having a .com doesn't make any difference.
    
To stay in business, people need to know your direct address/URL, so you need a cool domain name that no one forgets. It's all about the perfect left-right combination!

And... people need to remember it! Therefore, it has to be short and easy. In the end it's a game of stickiness! Short, easy to spell and type for humans, easy for voice assistants to interpret.
